In June, members of the Mandalay Ward got together to assist The Friends of the Liesbeek (FOL) in cleaning up the Liesbeek River. Members worked together to remove bags and bags of items that polluted the river and enjoyed time serving the community together.


Elder Steven E. Snow said: “Look for ways to bless the lives of others through seemingly simple acts of service” and President Spencer W. Kimball, a great example of service, said: “God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs. Therefore, it is vital that we serve each other in the kingdom”.
